Ku De Ta & Potato Head, Bali
If there’s two bars that you have to absolutely check out when you’re in Bali, then it’s got to be Ku De Ta and Potato Head. They are both located on the same stretch of street (Jalan Petitenget), and are of walking distance from each other. It’ll probably only take you about 5 minutes, if you intend to bar hop. If you’re looking for an impressive environment and intend to visit Hu’u Bar, I suggest you give that place a miss as its decor was very dull compared to these two.
Ku De Ta
Potato Head
Both bars have a view of the beach which was pretty good, as you get to enjoy the sea breeze. If you’re running out of space in your itinerary, and could only fit one club into it, then give Potato Head the green light. Ambience wise, Potato Head definitely tops Ku De Ta. I love the sailor theme that goes on and how spacious it is when compared to the decade-old Ku De Ta. It was one of the nicest bars/clubs I’ve ever been to. One that makes you go ‘wow’ the moment you stepped into it, like stepping into a whole new world….
