How Lee Restaurant Kota Kinabalu
How Lee is infamous amongst the locals in Kota Kinabalu for their supper delights. Open till late night, it’s Jose’s favourite supper spot after a night of clubbing at Times Square. Two things that they are famous for: Kon Lo Mee & Porridge.

Jose ordered for me their kon lo mee, with extra “liu” (ingredients) to make the experience more delicious than it already would have been even without. Though the noodles looked plain and dull without any soy dressing, what you have is noodle that’s been fragrant with pork oil and possibly some MSG. It was yummy, yummy, yummy.. got me gleaming at my first mouthful!
We’ve also had porridge here quite a few times and we would always order our favourite two; seafood or century egg with pork. The seafood one even has crabs in it that naturally sweetens the porridge.
We tried the Pai Kuat Wong (Spare Ribs King) here once but thought that the meat was way too tender :(
Food here could be rather pricey, especially the kon lo mee! On average, the both of us would spend a total of about RM 35 when dining in this place.
How Lee’s rating: 4/4
How Lee is located at Foh Sang area, not difficult to spot as it is the one that’s buzzling with loads of people.
